FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Metals recycling is the original green industry. Our recycling operations collect, process, and recycle almost all types and forms of metal. We process raw scrap metal through processes of sorting, shearing, shredding, torching and baling. Metals we process are used by steel mills and foundries across the United States and around the world to produce finished steel and other metal products. Through recycling, millions of tons of materials find new uses each year, helping us to keep Jackson and Central Mississippi clean and green while also serving as an efficient source of raw material for the manufacturers and suppliers that drive our economy.

    • Aluminum products, including cans

    • Automobiles and parts

    • Copper wire/pipe

    • Rebar

    • Stainless Steel

    • Structural Steel

    • White Goods (Refrigerators, Ovens, Washers, etc.)

    • Beer and soda kegs. These should be returned to the distributor.

    • Hazardous material containers.

    • Radiated metals.

  • We open at 8:30 AM and close at 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 8-1PM on Saturday. We do not close for lunch. Our Canton location is open 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.

  • We pay cash or check for all unregulated transactions, based upon customer preference. Regulated items are subject to a holding period and are paid by check in accordance with Mississippi state law.

  • Call the police, then call us with the case number they give you. We cooperate with law enforcement, and work diligently to keep stolen material from entering our facilities.
